“ Incredible service, decor, ambiance, and food! 5 stars! Great spot for a dinner date or a drink at the bar. Came here for a dinner date on Valentines with my husband and had a lovely night. We were immediately greeted by the friendly host who let us know our reserved table was being prepared. After being seated we had excellent service from all of the staff throughout our meal. The food was all incredible. My husband and I always order calamari as an appetizer at restaurants when available and we both agreed this has been our top favorite so far! The focaccia pullaparts were amazing, they tasted fresh and filled with rosemary. I ordered the Dungeness crab raviolo which was not only beautifully presented but delicious and creamy as well. My husband ordered the fried chicken which was excellent. Our cocktails were beautiful and tasted lovely. I would love to come back here for another special occasion dinner! ”

“ My wife and I have found one of our new fave restaurants in the North Bay, Goldfinch. My wife is vegetarian and we love the many vegetarian choices. For starters, we enjoyed the local pickled vegetables and the ball park fries. She had the beet salad as her entree while I had the fried calamari. We thought the interior touches from the comfortable booth seating to the cool lighting fixture, right down to the silverware were awesome! They also have the best restroom design in my opinion. The service was also good. We will definitely be back:) ”

“ Had one of the most flavorful steaks of my life at Goldfinch in Sebastopol, CA. I took my parents out to eat to celebrate their recent move from North Carolina. We started with the seared ahi and chile relleno--both are absolutely delicious and I highly recommend. But the star of the show was the steak, with layered potato pave (yum), grilled broccolini, and blue cheese crumbles. Sauce was savory, with sharp bites from the cheese, with the perfectly medium rare steak was a real treat. Ended with a to die for lemon cheesecake. Not an inexpensive meal--will be back for a special occasion. ”

“ Just had delicious dinner . Everything we ordered not only looked beautiful but was delicious. Everything. Beet salad, calamari (light, great texture, one of best versions of this dish. Focaccia with rosemary and olive oil, addictive. Halibut, tender, not in the least "fishy", delicious with a chick pea sauce. Potatoes very good. Chile relleno yum! Wonderful attentive kind service. I ate too much ”

“ Wonderful service every time! I love the bbq'd oysters to start and have enjoyed their sterling royal caviar with crème friache. I could have done with less salty chip. I've also had the rockfish ceviche, seared ahi tuna, red gem Caesar, heirloom carrots, and grilled shrimp. Of all those, the shrimp is probably one I wouldn't revisit. All of their veggies are cooked so perfectly, I prefer to stick with any of their yummy veggie item on their "THAT" section of the menu. "AND THE OTHER" section features some great selections like their 10oz angus and fried chicken. Pasta lovers check their house made Dungeness crab ravioli with soft ricotta and parm cream Mmmm We love coming here for HH which I believe is everyday 4-6pm. Ambiance is spot on and always busy! “ First time trying this place with a few friends for brunch. Free parking in a nearby parking lot. Amazing atmosphere. We ordered cocktails calamari steak and burgers. Unfortunately we have to give back the burger because it's undercooked. Its very pink. Its still pink when we got it again. ”

“ This place made salad so fun! We got beets salad, ahi tuna salad and grilled shrimp salad. Every plate has great presentation and of course each bite bursts with lots of flavors. We ate at the bar this time to watch football which is very comfortable. They have happy hour which I plan to try next time. ”

We had the halibut ceviche, the corn soufflé, the beet salad and a decadent dessert. The service was excellent. Many stars to the chef! The ambiance is lovely. It's small, light and bright. I liked the decor. The parking is limited but there's a parking lot one block away with plenty of free parking. I highly recommend the Goldfinch Restaurant in Sebastopol! ”
